Celtc spirals can be seen at the Newgrange Megalithic site, witch is only 13 km from the small studio where this piece was made. I have been inspired by the many carving on the stones at Knowth and Dowth, as well as with the tomb at Newgrange itself. there are many ancient ruins in my local area. County Meath is known as the royal county as the hill of Tara is where high kings of Ireland came to be crowned. Carvings can be seen around the site at Tara too.
